Being Judicial
We see a lot of comments about the actions of judges and whether or not they are being judicial or have a judicial temperament. But what exactly makes up a good judicial temperament? If you haven't been following the news, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, a Michigan state court judge, sentenced Larry Nassar, a doctor who assaulted US Gymnastics team members, to 175 years in prison. Her demeanor and actions during the sentencing are drawing both criticism and praise. What do you think about how she handled it?
